Mirago Media AB is the owner of grapevineQUEST.com. grapevineQUEST provides free apps to be used to run grapevine photo scavanger hunts.
As a user of the app you are anonymous. When using the grapevineQUEST app you allow the grapevinegQUEST system to contact you via the app interface. For example, to provide information about feedback from the event organizer regarding the photo missions you submit and whether the photo you submit is approved or declined with a comment.
When using the grapevineQUEST app you need to allow the app to access the smartphone camera in order to scan the QR code that starts the game.
In addition, you need to allow the app to use the camera to take pictures, crop them and send them to the event organizer via the grapevineQUEST system.
The data is not used for any other purpose than to deliver a working game to the app user and the event organizer. The data is not connected to any individual, only the QR code of the team. The event organizer creates and names the teams.
Once the teams have completed their tasks and the event organizer has reviewed and approved their photos and videos, the organizer can download each team’s submissions. This allows the organizer to easily create a personalized slideshow of each team’s contributions. Please note, to ensure privacy and server space efficiency, all images and videos will be automatically deleted from the server 14 days after the team’s completion.
GrapevineQUEST uses cookies for technical reasons to improve and simplify the use of the app. GrapevineQUEST does not store any personal information via cookies.
The GrapevineQUEST app does not contain advertising and does not offer purchases within the app.
